IF YOU NOTIFY THIS OFFICE IN WRITING WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM RECEIVING THIS NOTICE THAT YOU DISPUTE THE VALIDITY OF THIS DEBT, OR ANY PORTION THEREOF, THIS OFFICE WILL OBTAIN VERIFICATION OF THE DEBT OR OBTAIN A COPY OF A JUDGMENT AND MAIL YOU A COPY OF SUCH JUDGMENT OR VERIFICATION. IF YOU REQUEST OF THIS OFFICE IN WRITING WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THIS NOTICE THIS OFFICE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR, IF DIFFERENT FROM THE CURRENT CREDITOR.

Agreement to receive text messages

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree that Guardian Capital may send you periodic SMS or MMS messages containing but not limited to important information updates, account alerts, etc.

  • Message frequency may vary.
  • You may unsubscribe at any time by texting the word STOP to the number you received the text message from. You may receive a subsequent message confirming your opt-out request.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • United States participating carriers Include AT&T, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular®, MetroPCS®, InterOp, Cellcom, C Spire Wireless, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others.
  • T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • The carriers provide files for phone numbers that have been deactivated from their network or been ported from one carrier to another. We proactively opt-out deactivated numbers from our subscription list.
  • Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your cell phone number, your carrier’s name, and the date, time, and content of your messages, as well as other information that you provide. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us.
  • By subscribing or otherwise using the service, you acknowledge and agree that we will have the right to change and/or terminate the service at any time, with or without cause and/or advance notice No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Will I be charged for the text messages I receive?

Though Guardian Capital will never charge you for the text messages you receive, depending on your phone plan, you may see some charges from your mobile provider. Please reach out to your wireless provider if you have questions about your text or data plan.

Short Code

Send START to GCM or enter your phone number on the Guardian Capital payment portal website after logging in to get text alerts. You may receive a welcome message with subsequent account update messages including payment reminders and payment status related text message alerts.

Guardian Capital does not charge for receiving text message alerts. Message frequency varies by account. Message and data rates may apply. Check your text messaging plan with your carrier. For help, text HELP to (short code) or the phone number you received a text message from us on. Alternatively you can email info@gcmhawaii.com for help. To stop receiving text messages at any time, text STOP to GCM or the phone number you received a text message from us on. Supported carriers include: AT&T, Verizon, MetroPCS, Sprint, Boost, T-Mobile, Alltel, Virgin Mobile, U.S. Cellular. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you have provided us with consent to send you text messages in conjunction with the services you have requested. Your cellular provider’s Msg&Data Rates May Apply to our confirmation message and all subsequent messages.

You understand the text messages we send may be seen by anyone with access to your phone. Accordingly, you should take steps to safeguard your phone and your text messages if you want them to remain private. NO CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION SHOULD BE SENT VIA TEXT MESSAGE.  Please notify us immediately if you plan to provide your phone to another person.

If we modify this Text Message Policy, we will notify you by sending you a text message with a link to the new policy. We may terminate our text message program at any time.  If you have any questions about this policy, would like us to mail you a paper copy of this policy or are having problems receiving or stopping our text messages, please contact us using the following information:

You agree and consent to be contacted by the Company, Our agents, employees, attorneys, through the use of email, and/or telephone calls and/or SMS text messages to your cellular, home or work phone numbers, as well as any other phone number you have provided in conjunction with this account, including the use of automatic telephone dialing systems, auto dialers, or an artificial or prerecorded voice.

Opt-out or STOP

This policy applies to the text messages sent by Guardian Capital to our customers while and after they communicate with our Company. If you wish to stop receiving text messages from Guardian Capital, reply to any text message we have sent you and, in the reply, text simply type STOP.

If you wish to stop receiving all text messages from Guardian Capital, including those with information about payment due dates or missed payments, type STOP ALL in the reply text you send us. Your stop request will become effective immediately. You may also stop text messages by calling us using the contact information below.

Help or Support

If at any time you need our contact information or information on how to stop text messages, reply to any text message we have sent you and, in the reply, text simply type HELP.  Upon receiving your text message, we will send you a text message with this information. In general, the messages we send provide you with information about your account. Some of the text message we send may include links to websites. To access these websites, you will need a web browser and Internet access.
